Los Angeles Web Design, California: What Should a Full Site Cost?

Portland Peak SEO answers with three fixed prices for Los Angeles web design: $2,200, $5,500 or $8,500, paid once. We build remotely from Lake Oswego, Oregon, and each price arrives in a written scope before work starts.

THE FIRST QUESTION, ANSWERED FIRST

How much should a full website cost a Los Angeles business?

A full website from Portland Peak SEO costs $2,200, $5,500 or $8,500 for a Los Angeles business, with one payment. Page count moves the figure most: Starter covers five to eight pages, and Authority starts at thirty. Hosting, the domain and any monthly SEO, however, stay outside it.

BuildOne paymentPagesUsually liveUsually fits
Starter$2,2005 to 84 to 5 weeksOne location with one main service, such as a single shop or office
Growth$5,50010 to 255 to 8 weeksSeveral services or service areas; online stores start at this tier
Authority$8,50030 or moreA date set in the scopeSeveral locations, a regional market or a large product catalog

Each build's contents also sit line by line on our published pricing page, beside the monthly plans. Our web design work in Portland, Oregon uses the same three figures, so Los Angeles pays the Oregon rate.

Two agency pages ranking for this search, read on October 2, 2026, answer the cost question without a single figure. A price you can read before any call, by contrast, lets you rule us in or out quickly.

Where the state's rules live

Privacy policies, the CCPA thresholds and accessibility standards apply across the state rather than to one city. So our California web design hub covers them with links to each primary source. This page, in turn, stays with what belongs to Los Angeles.

STILL WORTH IT IN 2026?

Is a new website still worth paying for in Los Angeles in 2026?

The Census Bureau counts 1,439,097 households in the City of Los Angeles, and 96.4 percent of them have a computer. Broadband subscriptions sit in 92.6 percent of those same households, so most homes in the city can open a site. Portland Peak SEO quotes those figures as reach, never as a promise of leads.

Census measureCity of Los AngelesLos Angeles CountyCalifornia
Households1,439,0973,416,44913,548,091
Households with a computer96.4%96.7%96.9%

Residents aged 5 and over speaking Spanish at home39.3%37.6%28.3%
Residents aged 5 and over who speak English less than "very well"25.0%23.4%17.5%

Every cell comes from table DP02 of the Census Bureau's American Community Survey, 2024 five-year data. You can then open it for the city, the county or the state. Each column is one geography as printed, so no figure here is a sum or share of ours.

What the figures mean for web design in Los Angeles

In short, the table shows that nearly every household can reach a website. However, it cannot show whether your buyers search on a phone, a laptop or both.

So every layout we build starts at phone width and then widens for desktops. That also keeps buttons big enough for a thumb and text readable without pinching the screen.

Then the question becomes the one a written price answers: what the site must do, and on how many pages.

TWO LANGUAGES ON ONE SITE

Does a business in Los Angeles need its website in Spanish as well?

Across the City of Los Angeles, 56.4 percent of residents five and over speak another language at home. Spanish alone accounts for 39.3 percent, per the Census Bureau's own table. Portland Peak SEO treats a Spanish version as a scope decision, made page by page, never as an automatic extra.

Google's guide to multi-regional and multilingual sites sets out how a second language should sit on a site. Google last updated it on December 10, 2025, and four of its points shape any bilingual plan.

What Google's guide asksWhat it means for a site in Los Angeles
One URL for every language version; no cookies or browser settings that swap the wordsSpanish pages get addresses of their own, so each version can appear in search on its own
Language judged from the visible text, not from code attributesEach page keeps to one language in its copy and its menu, which keeps Google's reading clear
No automatic redirect based on a guess about the visitor's languageA visible link between the English and Spanish versions lets each visitor choose
hreflang annotations, each version listing itself and every other one, per Google's page on localized versionsSearch results can then send a Spanish-speaking searcher to the Spanish page

What a second language does to the quote

A Spanish version adds a page for every page it mirrors, and page count moves a quote first. So a Starter site in two languages can outgrow Starter.

Still, no Spanish-language build of ours appears on this site yet. For that reason, the scope must say who writes and checks the Spanish words before a price is final.

Name both languages in the quote form if your customers use both, and the written figure will reflect it.

BEFORE YOU SHORTLIST ANYONE

How do you check whether a Los Angeles web design agency is reputable?

Before hiring, ask any agency for four things: live sites, a written price, a named builder and clear ownership. Portland Peak SEO also answers all four on this page, in the table below. Star ratings help as well, though only when you can open the profile behind them.

Only Jacob Levin Law, of these four, works in California, whereas no Los Angeles client appears anywhere on this site. Nine clients appear by name on our client case studies page; we serve more than 20 in all.

A review total belongs on a page only when you can trace it, so this one prints none. The dated record below comes from a rank tracker instead.

This is a Wincher keyword overview for the U.S. Title Records website, on desktop searches in the United States. The window runs from January 16 until February 16, 2026. It shows search tracking, not a website build, so read it as the record a monthly plan adds after launch.
THE BUILD THAT FITS

Which build suits a Los Angeles practice, shop or contractor?

Portland Peak SEO matches the build to how often you edit and what you sell. For example, hand-coded pages suit a site that changes a few times a year. WordPress suits a team that edits every week, and a store usually calls for Growth or Authority.

Los Angeles website design by trade

Every trade gets the same page logic: one page per service, plus a page for each area you truly serve. A law firm therefore plans a page per practice area, and a contractor a page per job type.

So the page list, not the trade, decides the tier. For instance, a dental practice and a pool builder with the same page count pay the same figure.

When the current site already ranks

A site with rankings worth keeping needs a plan for its old addresses before anything moves. Our website redesign service therefore starts there, before any new design.

REMOTE, AND ALL IN WRITING

How does a remote build for a Los Angeles business run, step by step?

Four steps carry a Portland Peak SEO build from first look to launch, all of it handled remotely. A recorded review comes first, then a signed scope, a design on a staging link, and launch. Each project then closes with 30 days of post-launch checks on Google indexing, forms, redirects and speed.

1

Recorded review, fixed figure

Start with the form: an address, or two lines about a business with no site. A video review of your site and a single fixed figure follow, normally the next business day.

2

A scope you sign

Pages, features and the launch date go into one document, and work waits until you approve it. If you change your mind later, we price that change separately first.

3

Design first, code second

You sign off a design made from your own logo, colors and photos. After that, a private staging link shows the build as it grows.

4

Handover and a month of checks

On launch day, the files become yours to keep or move. For the next 30 days we check that Google indexes the pages and every form still sends.

Ask for a free web design quote to get that figure on paper. Prefer to see a design first? Ask for the free website mockup instead.

Who you work with

Since 2015 Portland Peak SEO has stayed founder-led, with Andreas Benavente building each client site. So no junior designer sits between you and the person writing your pages.

Our Marketing Manager, Thomas Johnston, handles marketing, while the build itself stays with the founder. Neither of us keeps an address in Los Angeles, and we will not rent one to look local.

After launch, search is a separate choice

A build, however, carries no monthly fee. If you later want search work, our monthly SEO plans start at $450 and run month to month.

Search work for this city also has its own Los Angeles SEO services page. The free SEO audit costs nothing and returns a written reading of your site within 48 hours.

OWNERS' QUESTIONS, ANSWERED SHORT

What else do Los Angeles owners ask before they hire a designer?

Each answer below stands alone, so you can forward one to a partner without the rest of the page.

Fit, weeks and hosting

Which build suits a small Los Angeles business with one location?

Portland Peak SEO usually points a one-location Los Angeles business to Starter, five to eight hand-coded pages. A second service line or a few service areas usually pushes the plan toward Growth instead. The free quote names the tier for your own page list, so nobody has to guess.

How many weeks does a Los Angeles website take with Portland Peak SEO?

Portland Peak SEO usually launches Starter in 4 to 5 weeks and Growth in 5 to 8, counted from approval. Authority has no stock timeline; its date sits in your signed scope. Copy and photos that arrive early protect that date, while late content pushes it back.

Who pays for hosting on a Los Angeles site?

You pay for hosting, since Portland Peak SEO keeps hosting, the domain and SSL outside every build price. Each provider then bills you directly, which keeps the site portable. We can still suggest a host that fits the build, but the choice stays yours.

Working with a builder in Oregon

Where does Portland Peak SEO work from, if not Los Angeles?

Portland Peak SEO has no Los Angeles office or staff; the founder works from Lake Oswego, Oregon. Most of the project moves by email and recorded video, and a phone call is there for decisions. If sitting across a desk from your designer matters, a local Los Angeles studio suits you better.

What does the free review of a Los Angeles website include?

Portland Peak SEO’s free review is a recorded video of your current site, followed by one fixed price. Most owners receive both within a business day, while the review stays theirs either way. With no site yet, describe the business in the form and the price follows the same way.

Can I see a design for my Los Angeles business before paying anything?

Portland Peak SEO will draw your homepage in your own branding for free, before you pay anything. You can ask for it alone or alongside the free quote. Nothing binds you until you approve a written scope, so the mockup costs you only the time to look.

WordPress, stores and moving platforms

Will my staff be able to edit a Portland Peak SEO site in WordPress?

Portland Peak SEO builds pages by hand, then can set them inside WordPress for your staff to edit. Teams that post articles every week usually get a full WordPress theme instead. Your quote then names the setup that fits, together with the reason behind it.

Can a Los Angeles shop sell online with a Portland Peak SEO build?

Portland Peak SEO starts online stores at the Growth build, $5,500, which covers 10 to 25 pages. Authority, at $8,500, takes over when the catalog grows large or the store sells into several markets. Products, checkout and the store platform all go into the written scope before the price is final.

Can Portland Peak SEO rebuild a Los Angeles site that lives on Wix or Squarespace today?

Portland Peak SEO handles platform moves for Los Angeles owners leaving Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy or an aging WordPress install. Before launch, we pair every old address with its new page and point it there through a permanent redirect. Growth includes that redirect map, and your Search Console shows Google following it afterward.

Trades and reviews

Does Portland Peak SEO build sites for Los Angeles law firms, dentists or contractors?

Portland Peak SEO prices every trade alike, so a firm, a practice and a contractor get the same three builds. Each service you sell gets its own page, which is how a buyer’s search finds it. So far, our California law firm work is one rebuild: Jacob Levin Law, criminal defense, in Redding.

Why does this page show no review count or star rating?

Portland Peak SEO shows only numbers it can source, and no verified review count has reached this page yet. Instead, the sites above are live, so you can open each one and judge the work directly. You can also read what shipped for each named client on our case studies page.

Owning the site, then search

Who holds the domain, hosting and code after a Los Angeles launch?

With Portland Peak SEO, your business holds the domain, the hosting and every Google login from the first day. The code and content then transfer to you at launch, so another developer can take over later. No bill from us continues after launch unless you add a monthly SEO plan.

Does Portland Peak SEO also handle SEO for Los Angeles businesses?

Monthly SEO for Los Angeles is a separate Portland Peak SEO purchase, never part of a build. Our SEO page for Los Angeles covers the three plans and the county’s cities. There is no contract on any of them: $450, $950 or $2,500, billed monthly.
