A CITY OF 100,778

How large is the Beaverton market a new website serves?

Portland Peak SEO uses Portland State University's figure here: Beaverton held 100,778 residents on July 1, 2025. That count rose from 76,129 at the 2000 Census and 97,494 in 2020, according to the same report's Table 4. Washington County around it reached 618,737 people.

The five rows above all trace to one April 2026 workbook from PSU's Population Research Center. Table 6 then ranks Beaverton seventh among Oregon cities, behind Bend at 107,079.

The city's own economic development page still calls Beaverton the sixth-largest city in Oregon. A rank on an About page ages fast, so cite the table and its year beside it.

Table 8 credits only 2 of Beaverton's new residents since April 2020 to annexation. Another 242,449 people live in unincorporated Washington County, outside every city, and the place-names section below returns to them.

ONE-TIME PRICES

What does Beaverton Oregon web design cost?

Portland Peak SEO's website packages each take a single payment: Starter at $2,200, Growth at $5,500, Authority at $8,500. Your page count decides which one a Beaverton business needs, and each package carries a typical timeline. Hosting and domain costs stay separate, because your host and registrar invoice you directly at their own rates.

PackageOne-time pricePages, as /pricing/ lists themUsual timeline after approvalA Beaverton business it suits
Starter$2,2005 to 8 custom pages4 to 5 weeksA food cart, salon or one-office professional practice
Growth$5,50010 to 25 custom pages, the first tier for an online store5 to 8 weeksA firm with several services, or a store that sells online
Authority$8,50030+ custom pagesWritten into the scope you signSeveral locations, or a large catalog

Each quote also itemizes six drivers, from page count and design depth to migration complexity. Once signed, your figure moves only through a scope change you approve in writing.

A landing page for one campaign, however, sits outside these packages. Each campaign page takes its own figure, which comes through the free web design quote. Monthly SEO plans appear beside the builds on our published price list.

For the full build method, the Portland, Oregon web design hub walks through all four steps, from review to handover.

WHAT EACH TRADE MUST SHOW

Which details should each kind of Beaverton business put on its site?

Portland Peak SEO matches the industries below to the rule or guide behind each detail, rather than to habit. Oregon's contractor rule, for example, requires the license number on any website ad. A restaurant page, by contrast, should link its menu, list real hours and name its cuisine.

Contractors and home services

Oregon's Construction Contractors Board rule OAR 812-003-0120 covers websites directly. Internet advertising, website advertising included, must show the contractor's license number visually.

Business cards, letterhead and jobsite signs carry that same number, so the site should match them. The city's business license page adds that sub-contractors need their own Beaverton license, since they are not your employees.

The same page notes that Beaverton honors Metro's Construction and Landscaping Business License.

Restaurants, cafes and food carts

Food carts answer to both the City of Beaverton and Washington County, according to the city's food cart page. For any food business, Google's local business guide recommends a menu URL and a servesCuisine value.

The same guide asks for opening hours, and it also supports dates for a seasonal closure. A cart that shuts for winter can therefore say so in its code as well as on the page.

Several locations under one name

One Beaverton license can list every location run under the same business name, the city's license FAQ explains. Google's guide, though, asks you to define each location as its own LocalBusiness, with its own URL.

A firm with offices in Beaverton and Hillsboro therefore needs one page per real location, not one page for both.

Medical practices, offices and auto repair shops

Google's guide also asks for the most specific business type available, such as Restaurant, DaySpa or HealthClub. Schema.org lists narrower types too, including Dentist and AutoRepair.

A firm with several services may list several types together, as Google's own electrician and plumber example shows. Either way, the name and address remain the two properties the guide requires.

MORE THAN ONE LANGUAGE

Should a Beaverton business website offer a second language?

Portland Peak SEO raises the question because the City of Beaverton itself publishes in several languages. Its guide to running a food cart comes in English, Spanish, Korean and Arabic. The city's business license application also has a Spanish version, Solicitud de Licencia Comercial.

ChoiceWhat Google's guidance says
A separate URL for each languageRecommended over cookies or browser settings that swap the text
hreflang annotationsHelp search results link people to the right language version
Automatic redirects by guessed languageAvoid them, since they can hide versions from people and from crawlers
Two languages on one pageAvoid it, and keep content and navigation in a single language

Those rows summarize Google's guide to multilingual sites, which also suggests linking each version so visitors choose for themselves. Google reads the visible text to decide a page's language, rather than a code-level tag.

Translation quality matters too, because Google's spam policies count scraped content, mass-produced through automated translation, as scaled content abuse. Have a fluent person write or check every translated page before it goes live.

Each translated page also counts toward the page total, and that total sets your tier.

SELLING ONLINE

What should a Beaverton online store plan before the build?

Portland Peak SEO starts online stores at the Growth tier, which covers 10 to 25 pages for $5,500. Authority, at $8,500, suits a store with a big catalog or buyers in several markets. Card processors may also verify your identity before the first sale, which can take days.

Platform choices, carts and catalog structure have their own page, on ecommerce website design. The local angle starts with the City of Beaverton's Enterprise Zone program.

Beaverton also runs an Electronic Commerce overlay inside that zone's boundary. The city defines electronic commerce broadly, from taking orders and closing sales to customer service.

Eligible businesses can get a property tax abatement on new development there, for three years and up to five. For e-commerce, qualifying equipment can include items costing $1,000 or more each.

Eligibility carries extra local rules, and eligible firms are generally non-retail. Tax questions belong with the city and your accountant rather than a web designer.

Selling abroad as well? The city's export assistance page adds that it and Business Oregon are Oregon's only two Ex-Im City/State Marketing Partners.

CODE AND PLATFORM

Should a Beaverton site be hand-coded, WordPress or Squarespace?

Portland Peak SEO starts every Beaverton site as hand-written HTML and CSS, adding WordPress when your staff will edit pages. A full WordPress theme, however, suits a team that publishes every week. Which of the two fits is a line in your written quote, along with why.

Our named builds show the range. The Manhattan Group International runs a hand-coded homepage, while Blue Heron Services launched 43 pages on WordPress.

PDX Elevator Safety sits on WordPress.com with 27 pages, and OutWoof Bound relaunched on Squarespace with 19. Compare WordPress website design with fully custom design before you choose.

Speed targets, without a promise

Whatever the platform, Google's Core Web Vitals set the targets a page should meet. Google's web.dev guide, for example, sets good loading at an LCP within 2.5 seconds.

Interaction needs an INP of 200 milliseconds or less, and layout shift a CLS of 0.1 or less. At least three in four visits, the 75th percentile, should meet each mark on mobile and on desktop.

No designer can promise a score in advance, because real visitors' phones and networks decide it.

MARKUP WITHOUT MYTHS

Does a Beaverton website need special code for AI answers or voice search?

Portland Peak SEO follows Google's answer: AI Overviews and AI Mode carry no extra requirements beyond normal SEO best practices. Nor, Google adds, does a site need a special schema.org type to qualify. It points instead to basics, such as structured data that matches the visible text.

Google's guide to AI features adds one more basic: verify the site in Search Console to catch technical problems early.

Voice search and review stars

Voice markup is narrower than many sales pages suggest. Google's speakable property is still in beta and serves topical news queries from English-language publishers.

It works for users in the United States with Google Home devices set to English. A Beaverton dentist or contractor, then, has no use for it yet.

Google's local business guide also limits review markup to sites that capture reviews about other businesses. So a business should not mark up its own testimonials as review stars.

Business Profiles, the map pack and citations belong to our Beaverton SEO plans, which run month to month. Already have a site? Our free SEO audit can show where it stands.

PLACE NAMES, CHECKED

Which place names can a Beaverton site use honestly?

Portland Peak SEO suggests naming only places where you really work, checked against city and county records. The city's own map divides Beaverton among 11 neighborhood association committees, Central Beaverton and West Slope among them. The city warns, though, that those committee boundaries may differ from the city limits.

The city's neighborhood committee page lists all the neighborhoods, next to a link to its city limit maps.

Communities outside the city

Aloha, Cedar Mill and Raleigh Hills do not appear on the Blue Book's list of incorporated Washington County cities. Washington County plans them instead, through community plans such as Aloha-Reedville-Cooper Mountain and Cedar Hills-Cedar Mill.

The Aloha, Cedar Mill and Raleigh Hills plans all show an August 2026 update on the county's list. A page can name Aloha or Cedar Mill truthfully, but calling them Beaverton districts would be wrong.

Downtown and the Main Street program

The city's Main Street Program currently covers one district: Downtown Beaverton. City staff have given the Beaverton Downtown Association training, technical help and funding.

Oregon's Main Street program also designates downtown a Transforming Downtown Community. The city's Main Street Seed Fund helped pay for First Friday and the Broadway Street Festival, its page says.

A downtown shop's site can therefore tie its own hours and offers to those events.

Why swapped-name pages backfire

Copying one page across Beaverton, Aloha and Tigard with only the name swapped invites a doorway finding. Google's spam policies describe doorways as pages made to rank for similar searches, which then funnel users onward.

Write a separate place page only when real jobs, staff or photos there give it something of its own.

REDESIGN, NOT RESTART

How does a Beaverton redesign keep the search traffic it already earns?

Portland Peak SEO lists every existing URL and pairs it with its new address before a Beaverton relaunch. Each pair gets one direct 301 redirect, never a chain. Pages that already rank keep their titles and text unless your written scope says otherwise.

How long should they stay live? As long as possible, and generally no less than 1 year, according to Google's site-move guide. Search Console's Sitemaps report then counts the submitted URLs that Google indexed.

Submitting a sitemap can also speed up Google's discovery process, that guide notes.

Indexing, forms, redirects and speed then get regular checks through the first 30 days after launch. Problems get fixed as soon as they appear in those weeks.

From then on, you choose the upkeep: your own edits, short requests, or a monthly SEO plan. Our website redesign service covers older sites in more depth.

CLIENT SITES, LIVE TODAY

Which finished client websites can a Beaverton owner check?

Portland Peak SEO names nine of its more than 20 clients on a case studies page, each with a link. Every named client site loads today, so the proof is yours to check. For two of them, the page adds a dated reading: one in Search Console, one in Wincher.

Client siteWhat we builtWhere it competes, per our case studies
Blue Heron Services43 WordPress pages, each service and suburb on its ownRoof and exterior cleaning searches in Lake Oswego and West Linn
PDX Elevator Safety27 pages in three waves on WordPress.comPortland, Oregon, with Oregon and Washington rules kept apart
OutWoof BoundMoved to Squarespace: 19 pages, Search Console set up firstSE Portland
The Manhattan Group InternationalA hand-coded homepage whose dossier system runs on CSS aloneAn international construction and environmental services firm

Two readings with their dates

In Wincher's September 2026 readings, the search "Lake Oswego roof cleaning" showed Blue Heron Services at position 3. For U.S. Title Records, Search Console showed rebuilt pages averaging position 8.4 in September 2026, up from 9.2.

Rankings move daily, so treat each figure as a dated reading, never a promise for your site.

HOW A PROJECT OPENS

How does Beaverton website design start, and what does asking cost?

Every Beaverton project at Portland Peak SEO begins with a recorded review of your site and a fixed figure. That first step is free, and nothing gets signed before a written proposal suits you. Owners without a website can send a short note about the business instead.

  • Review and price: a recorded walkthrough and a fixed figure, usually within one business day.
  • Scope: a signed page map that settles what gets built.
  • Design and build: once the design has your approval, a private staging link shows the build as it grows.
  • Launch and handover: ownership of the code passes to you, and monitoring runs for 30 days.

Copy, photos and logins cause most delays, so gather them before design starts. Prefer to see a homepage before paying anything? Our free website mockup shows a homepage in your branding, with no obligation.

OWNER QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Beaverton site questions: price, people, launch and search

Prices and scope

What figure should a Beaverton company budget for its website?

Portland Peak SEO quotes one of three fixed figures for a Beaverton site: $2,200, $5,500 or $8,500. You pay that figure once, with no monthly fee for the site itself. Before you agree to anything, the written quote shows how that figure breaks down.

Can I hire you for one landing page instead of a whole site?

Portland Peak SEO scopes a single landing page on its own, outside the three website packages. Use the free web design quote form to describe the campaign and get a written price. None of the $2,200, $5,500 or $8,500 package figures applies to a standalone landing page.

Do Beaverton clients pay the same as Portland clients?

Portland Peak SEO charges every client the same published prices, whether the business sits in Beaverton, Portland or another state. Being farther from our office changes nothing in the tiers or the written scope. Every build also gets the same 30 days of checks after launch.

Do you build for one-person firms and larger Beaverton companies alike?

Portland Peak SEO sizes builds by pages, from Starter at 5 to 8 up to Authority at 30 or more. A one-person service firm and a company with several locations therefore follow the same steps. Only the scope, the price and the timeline change between them.

Working with us

Where is your office, and how do Beaverton projects run?

Portland Peak SEO answers Beaverton inquiries by email and recorded video, since its only office sits in Lake Oswego. A phone call covers any decision that needs one, and the steps match those for every other client. Clients in Hillsboro, Tigard or farther away follow that same routine.

Who will actually build my Beaverton website?

Portland Peak SEO has Andreas Benavente, its founder, working on every account, whether the client sits in Beaverton or elsewhere. That holds from the first review through launch and beyond. You can also look up Thomas Johnston, our marketing manager, since he and Andreas each keep a public LinkedIn profile.

When could my Beaverton website go live?

Portland Peak SEO counts 4 to 5 weeks for a Starter site, starting from the day you approve the proposal. Growth builds run 5 to 8 weeks, and an Authority launch date gets written into its scope. Your copy, photos and logins, sent early, protect that schedule.

After launch

Can my staff update the site after launch?

Portland Peak SEO sets editable sites up so your staff can change text and photos in the WordPress editor. Larger layout changes go through a short request instead. Since the code belongs to you, another developer can step in once those first 30 days end.

Who owns the domain, hosting and code?

Portland Peak SEO opens the domain, hosting and Google accounts in your name, never in ours. The code follows at launch, and nothing renews through us unless you choose monthly SEO. Switching hosts or designers later is your decision alone, with no sign-off from us.

Will my hosting bill come from you or from the host?

Portland Peak SEO keeps hosting separate from every build, so the host you choose bills you itself. Keeping it separate means the site can move whenever you like. Ask, and we will name a host that fits the build, while the SSL certificate stays in your name too.

Search and nearby places

Will my new site rank for Beaverton web designer searches?

Portland Peak SEO makes no ranking promise for any search, since Google alone decides its results. Fresh sites wait for Google to crawl them, and contested terms often take months. Search Console and the 30 days of launch checks then let you watch the early movement yourself.

Do you offer SEO for Beaverton businesses after launch?

Portland Peak SEO keeps search work separate from the build: monthly plans run $450, $950 or $2,500, with no contract. Taking a plan after launch stays entirely your call. Our Beaverton SEO page explains those local plans, including Business Profile work and service areas.

Can you build for businesses in Aloha, Cedar Mill or Hillsboro?

Portland Peak SEO takes Washington County clients from any town, Aloha and Hillsboro included, at the same three prices. Neither Aloha nor Cedar Mill is an incorporated city, so a site should name each as its own place. Hillsboro, the county seat, counted 112,735 people in PSU’s 2025 tables.
