Florida AI SEO Agency for Miami, Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville Businesses
Portland Peak SEO works as a Florida AI SEO agency from Lake Oswego, OR, at published prices of $450, $950 and $2,500 a month. On October 2, 2026 Google wrote no AI answer for a Florida business looking to hire an AI SEO agency or buy AI SEO services. For the one Florida search it did answer, it took a list of regions from a stranger's comment and a statistic from a vacation rental podcast. The captures, the county figures and the work are below.

FLORIDA · AI OVERVIEWS · AI MODE · CHATGPT · PERPLEXITY · COPILOTWhat does a Florida AI SEO agency do when Google will not answer the question?
A Florida AI SEO agency works to get a business named and cited when Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity answer a Florida buyer. Portland Peak SEO does that from Lake Oswego, OR, for $450, $950 or $2,500 a month, published in full, with no result promised on any plan.
When Google declines to write an overview, the buyer sees ordinary search: a map pack and ten links. When it does write one, it reaches for whatever it can find, and the Florida overview showed how loose that reach can be. The work of an AI SEO agency is the same in both cases. Make a business's own pages the clearest, most checkable source for its service and its city, so the business is ranked when no answer is written and quoted when one is.
This page covers the AI layer: Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot. Classic search across Florida is covered on the Florida SEO company page, and a plain definition of the service is on what AI SEO is.
Why did Google answer one Florida AI SEO search and skip the two that hire someone?
On October 2, 2026, Google wrote no AI Overview for ai seo agency florida or for ai seo services florida, only a local pack and 10 organic results each. For ai seo florida it wrote a 2,485-character overview and showed 6 paid ads, tied for the most of the 466 searches captured that day.
| Search, located in Florida | Captured, UTC | AI Overview | Paid ads | What else the page held |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ai seo agency florida | 16:28 | None | 0 | 3 cards, 10 organic results, 4 questions |
| ai seo services florida | 16:37 | None | 0 | 3 cards, 10 organic results, 4 questions |
| ai seo florida | 16:24 | 2,485 characters, 6 pages cited | 6 | 9 organic results, 4 questions, no map pack |
The captures ran through DataForSEO's live Google endpoint on desktop, located in Florida, minutes apart. Arizona showed the same pattern that afternoon, with no overview on either its agency or its services search, while Colorado and Nevada lost the overview on the agency phrase alone. The likeliest reading is the plain one: a search to hire a business gets the map and the links, and a search about a subject gets a written answer. The six ads sat on the subject search, which suggests advertisers were bidding on people learning about AI SEO rather than people ready to hire.
For a Florida business this split cuts two ways. On hiring searches, the old rules decide who is seen: the Business Profile, the reviews, the organic rankings. On learning searches, the overview decides, and it cites whatever looks most relevant to the question. A business needs pages that win both, which in practice are the same pages: specific, plain and consistent with the Profile. One capture is one draw, and the captures repeat monthly.
Which Florida markets showed up on page one?
The 10 organic results for ai seo agency florida were spread across 7 Florida markets: Miami, St. Petersburg, Orlando, Cape Coral, West Palm Beach, Winter Park and South Florida as a region, plus 1 statewide page. No single city owned Florida's page one the way Chicago owned Illinois's.
| Organic position | Market | What the page was |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Miami | A company-data list of AI SEO agencies based in Miami |
| 2 | St. Petersburg | An agency's St. Petersburg AI SEO page |
| 3 | Orlando | A Reddit post listing five Orlando SEO agencies |
| 4 | Cape Coral | An agency's Cape Coral SEO page |
| 5 | Statewide | An agency's Florida SEO company page |
| 6 | South Florida | An agency's AI-ready SEO page for South Florida |
| 7 | West Palm Beach | A press release on a Colorado newspaper's website about the agency in position 9 |
| 8 | Winter Park | A guide to five SEO experts in Winter Park |
| 9 | West Palm Beach | The same agency's West Palm Beach SEO services page |
| 10 | Miami | A Quora question on choosing an SEO company in Miami |
Florida's spread is the useful contrast. In Illinois a statewide search came back almost entirely about Chicago, and in Georgia the answers named only metro Atlanta. Florida's page one moved from Miami to St. Petersburg to Cape Coral, because the state has several large metros and each has agencies writing about it. One agency held two positions, once through its West Palm Beach SEO page and once through a press release about it, posted on a newspaper website in Colorado.
For a Florida business the lesson is to write for its own market rather than for Florida. A page that names Fort Lauderdale, Sarasota or Lakeland and the county in its first sentence competes in that market, where the field is smaller, instead of statewide, where it is not.
Where did the Florida AI Overview get its claims?
The one Florida overview on October 2, 2026 cited 6 pages, and two of its claims came from odd places. Its advice to cover regions from Miami to Leesburg drew on a stranger's comment shown under a well-known marketer's LinkedIn post, and its line on searches ending without a click came from a vacation rental podcast.
| Cited page | What the overview used it for |
|---|---|
| A comment shown under a well-known marketer's LinkedIn post | The regions to cover, from Miami to Leesburg, and FAQ schema advice |
| A vacation rental podcast episode page | That many searches now end without a click because of AI summaries |
| A Miami lawyer SEO services page | Structured data and regional content clusters |
| A forum thread on Florida SEO services | That Florida marketers are moving to integrated packages |
| A marketing group's SEO and GEO page | The definition of generative engine optimization |
| A web design firm's local lead system page | Packages that combine AI workflows and lead capture |
The LinkedIn citation is the one worth studying. The passage Google read was not the famous marketer's post at all; it was text from the related posts shown beneath it, written by an account with a handful of followers, about Leesburg in Lake County. The overview then told Florida businesses to build content covering regions from Miami to Leesburg. A reader who saw the marketer's name on the citation would assume the advice was his. It was not.
That is a reason to open every citation an answer engine gives, and a reason for a business to publish its own facts plainly on its own pages, where no engine has to borrow them from a comment. This page links to the Census Bureau, the Bureau of Labor Statistics and Google's own documentation for the same reason.
What should a Florida buyer make of ranking promises?
1 Orlando page on the October 2, 2026 Florida results offered page-one visibility within a set number of days. 4 other pages on the same results said plainly that they make no such promise, one of them calling the promise itself the warning sign. A buyer had both views on one screen.
The four pages that declined were a St. Petersburg agency, a Cape Coral agency, a web design firm and a South Florida agency, and their wording varied: rankings and citations are measured targets, not promises; no timeline is promised because honest SEO does not work that way; a first-place promise is itself the warning sign. The Orlando page took the opposite position in its title and its opening line, offering page-one visibility within a stated number of days.
Rankings and AI citations depend on Google's systems, on competitors' pages and on time, none of which an agency controls. Portland Peak SEO makes no ranking, citation or map promise on any plan. It promises the work, a dated baseline before the first change and a written monthly report from the founder that says what moved and what did not.
Where are Florida's marketing firms, and where are its new residents going?
Florida had 23,372,215 residents on July 1, 2024, 1,780,180 more than in 2020, and 16,804 marketing-services firms, 0.72 per 1,000, the second-highest rate of the 12 states measured. Six Florida counties each hold more than 900 of those firms, from Miami-Dade's 2,611 to Pinellas's 964.
| County | Residents, 2024 | Change since 2020 | Marketing firms | Per 1,000 residents |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Miami-Dade | 2,838,461 | 142,732 more | 2,611 | 0.92 |
| Broward (Fort Lauderdale) | 2,037,472 | 93,975 more | 1,662 | 0.82 |
| Palm Beach (West Palm Beach, Boca Raton) | 1,582,055 | 87,779 more | 1,683 | 1.06 |
| Hillsborough (Tampa) | 1,581,426 | 115,106 more | 1,167 | 0.74 |
| Orange (Orlando) | 1,533,646 | 101,926 more | 1,108 | 0.72 |
| Duval (Jacksonville) | 1,055,159 | 57,333 more | 545 | 0.52 |
| Pinellas (St. Petersburg, Clearwater) | 965,870 | 6,031 more | 964 | 1.00 |
| Lee (Fort Myers, Cape Coral) | 860,959 | 95,393 more | 394 | 0.46 |
| Polk (Lakeland) | 852,878 | 122,699 more | 160 | 0.19 |
| Pasco (New Port Richey, Wesley Chapel) | 659,114 | 92,932 more | 239 | 0.36 |
| Brevard (Melbourne) | 658,447 | 49,655 more | 232 | 0.35 |
| Sarasota | 476,604 | 40,348 more | 400 | 0.84 |
| Leon (Tallahassee) | 300,488 | 6,527 more | 253 | 0.84 |
| The other 54 counties | 2,885 | |||
| No county assigned by BLS | 2,501 |
Resident counts are Vintage 2024 population estimates from the Census Bureau. Firm counts are 2024 annual averages for private employers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages, drawn from the Florida QCEW file and thirteen county files on October 6, 2026. A marketing firm here is an establishment in industry 5418, advertising and public relations, of which Florida has 5,811, or 541613, marketing consulting, of which it has 10,993. BLS counts 2,501 Florida firms in the state total without placing them in a county, so each county figure is a floor.
Palm Beach County runs 1.06 firms per 1,000, the densest in the table, with more firms than Broward despite fewer residents. Pinellas runs 1.00. At the other end, Polk runs 0.19, Brevard 0.35 and Pasco 0.36, and those three counties added 265,286 residents between them, more than Miami-Dade and Broward together. Florida's growth is landing hardest where its agencies are thinnest.
What happens in the counties growing fastest with the fewest agencies?
Polk County, between Tampa and Orlando, added 122,699 residents from 2020 to 2024, nearly as many as Miami-Dade's 142,732. It has 160 marketing firms, 0.19 per 1,000, against Miami-Dade's 2,611, so one of Florida's fastest-growing counties has very few local pages written for it.
Polk sits on the Interstate 4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando, and Pasco on Tampa's northern edge. Between them they added 215,631 residents, and every new household there has to find a dentist, an electrician, a pool service and an accountant for the first time. Many will ask an answer engine, and the engine will look for a page that names Lakeland, Winter Haven, Wesley Chapel or Land O' Lakes. Very few exist.
A business in those towns does not need to outwrite Tampa or Orlando. It needs one accurate page per service that names the town and the county in the first sentence, states its hours and service area, shows a price or starting price, and matches its Business Profile word for word.
What does this page add that no Florida result did?
Four findings on this page appear on none of the results Google ranked for these Florida searches on October 2, 2026. Neither commercial search got an overview. The overview that did appear misread a comment as its source. Page one split on ranking promises. And Polk County is growing with almost no agencies.
No overview for the agency or the services phrase. Only the subject search, with six ads, got a written answer.
The overview's regional advice came from a related post shown under a well-known marketer's LinkedIn post, not from the post itself.
One Orlando page offered page-one visibility on a schedule. Four other pages said they would not.
Polk, Pasco and Brevard added 265,286 residents and have 631 marketing firms between them.
How much does AI SEO cost, and how much does it cost to hire someone to do SEO in Florida?
AI SEO costs a Florida business $450, $950 or $2,500 a month at Portland Peak SEO, published and month to month. On October 2, 2026, Florida's page one printed a St. Petersburg agency's plans at $1,500 to $15,000 a month and a Winter Park guide's typical range of $500 to $5,000.
A Cape Coral agency published named packages, an Orlando page described what other agencies typically charge, and a national list of AEO companies showed investment bands on each listing. Florida's page one carried more published prices than most states in this research, which helps a buyer, and the spread from a few hundred dollars to five figures a month shows why a price only means something next to its scope.
Florida pays the same as everywhere else. The Local plan, $450 a month, makes the Business Profile and website agree and rewrites the main service pages to answer first. The Growth plan, $950, brings the crawler test, schema and entity work and the monthly overview capture. The Authority plan, $2,500, covers each AI surface the firm tracks, with a capture for every Florida metro the client serves. Scope and exclusions are on the pricing page, with the AI work itemized on the AI SEO pricing page.
Which SEO company is the best in Florida, and which AI SEO agencies are the best?
No best SEO company in Florida can be picked from page one. On October 2, 2026, the 3 map cards for ai seo agency florida all had AI in their names and all showed 5.0 stars, and one of those ratings rested on a single review. Names and stars are not evidence of results.
| Test | Question for any Florida firm | Portland Peak SEO's answer |
|---|---|---|
| Names | Who writes the pages and the reports, by name? | Andreas Benavente, founder; Thomas Johnston, marketing manager |
| Price | Is the monthly figure published, with its scope? | Yes: $450, $950 or $2,500 |
| Promises | Does the firm offer rankings or citations by a date? | No, on any plan |
| Captures | Where and when was each AI answer captured? | Florida, desktop, October 2, 2026, three searches |
| Ownership | Are the website, Profile and analytics in the client's name? | Yes, all of them |
The services search showed one more detail. One of its map cards, a listing named for local SEO and AI SEO services, also appeared in the Washington map pack captured the same afternoon, so the same listing was offered to buyers on opposite corners of the country. A buyer cannot tell from a map card where a firm actually works, which is one more reason to ask the five questions above in writing. Portland Peak SEO has 5 reviews and states that number, and carries no rating markup on this page or on any client's page.
Is SEO still worth it with AI, and what is AI SEO called now?
SEO is still worth it with AI in Florida, and the one Florida overview captured on October 2, 2026 said so in its own words: it told businesses to keep an active Business Profile and consistent citations, because AI engines pull from verified local directories. That is local SEO by another name.
The overview also used two of the newer names, answer engine optimization and generative engine optimization, and the Florida People Also Ask boxes asked what AI SEO is called now and whether SEO is being phased out. Google's own documentation answers both: its AI optimization guide calls the work SEO, and its AI features page says there are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode.
What has changed is the scorecard. A ranking report alone no longer shows whether a Florida buyer was told about the business, so the measurement now includes the answer itself, captured with its date, alongside Search Console, visits tagged utm_source=chatgpt.com and Business Profile calls. Portland Peak SEO's answer engine optimization work is the same work, priced the same way.
How does the work run for a Florida business?
Every Florida engagement runs on the sequence published for all clients. The first 30 days open crawler access, repair indexing and the Business Profile and fix a dated baseline; the second month rebuilds key pages to answer first; the third month onward adds listings, reviews and links. A fair reading takes 90 to 180 days.
| When | Focus | What is done |
|---|---|---|
| Days 1 to 30 | Baseline and access | Crawlers checked against robots.txt for Googlebot, OAI-SearchBot and PerplexityBot, per OpenAI's bot documentation and each engine's own; indexing and snippet fixes; Business Profile repairs; every tracked Florida answer captured and dated |
| Days 31 to 60 | One market, one page | Key service pages rebuilt to open with 40 to 60 words on the business, the service, the Florida city and county and one fact a reader can verify; schema on Growth and Authority |
| Day 61 onward | Reach | Listings and reviews, editorial links on Growth and Authority, and a monthly report from the founder against the baseline |
| Day 90 to 180 | The honest reading | The Florida answers compared with the baseline and reported as they stand, better or worse |
Not part of any Florida plan: commitments to rankings or citations by a date; one page repeated for Miami, Tampa and Orlando with the city swapped; keywords inside the Business Profile name, which Google's guidelines forbid; press releases bought for citations; review or rating markup. Portland Peak SEO was absent from all three Florida captures on October 2, 2026, and this page is its first for these searches.
Can a Lake Oswego, Oregon firm serve a Florida business?
Most of Florida keeps Eastern time, 3 hours ahead of Lake Oswego, and the panhandle west of the Apalachicola River keeps Central time, 2 hours ahead. A 10 a.m. Miami meeting is 7 a.m. in Oregon, and the work itself, pages, settings and founder-written reports, does not depend on the hour.
A Florida client's website, Search Console, Business Profile and analytics are registered to the client and stay that way; access is granted for the work and can be withdrawn whenever the client likes. After eleven years of founder-led work since 2015, every change still passes the founder before it is published, and he writes the monthly report himself.
Distance matters in one place: the firm has no Florida address and will not register one, so it does not appear in Florida map packs. Andreas Benavente, founder, writes and maintains this page, with Thomas Johnston as marketing manager; both are named in its schema and on the about page.
What can no Florida AI SEO agency promise?
No Florida AI SEO agency can promise a citation, and the October 2, 2026 captures show why: Google wrote no overview for 2 of 3 Florida searches and, in the third, credited a stranger's comment as its source. Portland Peak SEO promises the work and a dated record of what changed.
No Florida client result appears here, because none is in the verified record, and no ranking tally, because the dated export behind one is not attached. Businesses that showed up in the captures are left unnamed and described only by what Google displayed, with no review counts.
Everything else is open to a Florida reader: rerun the three searches, open each citation in the overview yourself, rebuild the county table from the Census and BLS files with the 2,501 firms that have no county, and check the prices against the pricing page and the schema.
Florida questions about AI SEO agencies, answered
Does a Tampa or St. Petersburg business need its own page?
Yes, if it serves customers there and can say something true of that market alone. Hillsborough County has 1,581,426 residents and 1,167 marketing firms, and Pinellas 965,870 residents and 964 firms, 1.00 per 1,000, one of the densest counties in the state. On October 2, 2026, a St. Petersburg agency page held an organic position for ai seo agency florida, so a precise Tampa Bay page can be found statewide.
What should an Orlando business know about AI search?
That Orlando pages were among the most frequent on the Florida results. Orange County has 1,533,646 residents, 101,926 more than in 2020, and 1,108 marketing firms, 0.72 per 1,000. On October 2, 2026, Orlando appeared in a Reddit list of agencies, an Orlando AI SEO services page and the page that offered page-one visibility on a schedule, so an Orlando buyer is reading claims that need checking.
Does a Fort Myers or Cape Coral business face less competition?
Less than South Florida. Lee County added 95,393 residents between 2020 and 2024 and has 394 marketing firms, 0.46 per 1,000, under half of Miami-Dade's 0.92. A Cape Coral agency page held an organic position on the October 2, 2026 Florida agency search. A Lee County business that names Fort Myers, Cape Coral or Bonita Springs and the county in the first sentence of each service page competes with comparatively few local answers.
Is Jacksonville under-served for its size?
By this measure, yes. Duval County has 1,055,159 residents and 545 marketing firms, 0.52 per 1,000, the lowest rate of Florida's six largest counties, and the only Jacksonville page on the October 2, 2026 results was a Reddit thread asking whether any local SEO agencies were there. A Jacksonville business with one clear page per service is writing for buyers few local pages answer.
Why does Tallahassee have so many marketing firms for its size?
Leon County has 300,488 residents and 253 marketing firms, 0.84 per 1,000, a higher rate than Hillsborough or Orange. The data do not say why, and this page does not guess. A Tallahassee business should still name the city and county in its first sentence, since no Tallahassee page appeared on any of the three Florida captures and the engine had nothing local to quote.
Does Portland Peak SEO have an office or Business Profile in Florida?
No. Its only office and Business Profile are in Lake Oswego, OR. It does not register a Florida address it does not occupy, because a Business Profile has to sit where the business really serves customers, and a Profile at a borrowed address can be suspended. In Florida map results, the client's own Profile is the one that counts, and Portland Peak SEO works on it through the client's account.
